Pricing questions
Why publish pricing when most consultancies don't?
Because the pattern of refusing to publish pricing is mostly about pricing leverage, not scope complexity. We can quote ranges honestly because we know what our work costs. Specific quotes still happen after Diagnose — but the ranges give you enough to know whether we're in your budget before you spend time talking to us.
Are these prices GST inclusive?
No — GST exclusive. Add 10% for the GST-inclusive amount.
Do you offer payment terms?
Yes. Diagnose engagements are typically paid 50% upfront, 50% on delivery. Larger engagements (Growth, Transformation) are milestone-based with 30% upfront, then payments at agreed delivery milestones. Drive retainers are monthly in advance. Net 14 terms standard.
Can you do fixed price for a complex engagement?
Yes — fixed price is our default for everything except Drive (which is monthly retainer). We do scoping work during Diagnose so the Deploy price is committed before you sign. Cost overruns are our risk, not yours. If scope changes materially after sign-off, we'll quote the variation transparently.
What about NFP / not-for-profit pricing?
We discount NFP engagements meaningfully — typically 30–50% off the standard ranges depending on the organisation's size and mission. The Accelerator tier for a small NFP is usually AU$10–20k rather than the standard AU$20–60k. See the not-for-profits industry pillar for more.
Do you charge a sales tax / brokerage / referral fee on any of this?
No. We don't resell licences with markup, we don't accept commission from any of the AI vendors we work with, and we don't charge brokerage on third-party tools you'd buy anyway. The price we quote is the price you pay. Software licences for tools you'll use (ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft 365, Make.com, etc.) are your direct cost and you pay the vendor directly.
What if the project doesn't deliver the projected ROI?
We project ROI during Diagnose based on operational metrics — hours saved, cost recovered, revenue lift. If the actual outcome misses the projection by a meaningful margin, we'll work the gap during Drive at no additional charge until it closes. We have not had to do this on any engagement to date because we're conservative in projections during Diagnose. If you walk away unhappy with the outcome, we'd rather refund you than have you as a bad reference.
Can we start smaller than the Accelerator tier?
Sometimes — depends on the scope. We've shipped focused engagements under AU$15k for very specific narrow use cases (single Custom GPT build, narrow integration project). If your scope is genuinely small, we'll quote accordingly during Diagnose. We won't push you into a bigger engagement than the work requires.
